The Huge Process

Huge Consulting works only with Colorado companies that have validated the existence of a market and are positioned to grow rapidly with investment targeted at business development. Within this sector, Huge has a preference for working with companies built around "triple bottom-line" or "socially responsible" thinking.

Preparing for Growth

For these companies, Huge leverages the entrepreneurial experience of its network of experienced executives to identify ways to rapidly accelerate the business, and assembles these into a well-coordinated, optimized business strategy.

Often, the optimized strategy centers on developing a mature sales process. But the strategy can also include refining the company's product or services to better meet market needs, redirecting corporate resources for optimal growth, and overcoming barriers to success.

Huge documents the optimized strategy in the following deliverables, prepared on a fixed-fee basis:

  • A growth-based operating plan,
  • Pro forma,
  • Executive summary, and
  • Business plan.

After this initial effort, Huge is often engaged on a level-of-effort basis to provide Board of Advisor services and assist in implementing the optimized strategy.

Finding Capital

Huge has strict criteria that must met before it will launch a private placement memorandum on behalf of a client. The process of developing the optimized business strategy gives Huge a deep understanding of whether the client's business model is worthy of acceleration, and, therefore, investment.

Provided the company meets Huge's criteria for proceeding, Huge develops the following documents that describes the investment opportunity:

  • Private placement memorandum (PPM),
  • Operating agreement, and
  • Subscription agreement.

These documents follow a standard deal structure, which is specifically tailored to companies that fit the Huge client profile and the needs of the Huge investor network.

By the time a prospective investor is presented an opportunity from Huge, the client has already paid Huge for services rendered. Huge does not accept fees based on investments made.
